Denpasar Search and Rescue Agency Still Looking for Jordanian Tourist Who Went Missing at Legian’s Double Six Beach

A Jordanian national has been missing since yesterday afternoon after he reportedly went swimming at the Double Six Beach in Legian. The Search and Rescue (SAR) Agency in Denpasar says they are still searching for the tourist.

“A search and rescue task force is still searching for the tourist up until this point,” Ida Bagus Surya Wirawan from the Denpasar SAR Agency told Coconuts Bali earlier today.

Three rubber boats, two jet skis and a helicopter from the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) have been dispatched for the search, he added.

Milhem is believed to have been swept up by the current when he went swimming with his wife on the beach in front of La Plancha Beach Bar & Restaurant, as reported by Bali Express.

“According to his wife, he was swimming and had a boogie board with him, and he suddenly went missing,” a lifeguard from the area told Bali Express.
