Gietman Bali Mountain Bike Marathon 2018

Gietman Bali Mountain Bike Marathon 2018 is a sport tourism activity marathon mountain bike tour by combining race activities at a certain distance. Participants are aged 17 years to 55 years old. The winner rating is based on the segment application downloads in each participant’s Strava.

The event organized by Yayasan Atlit Nusantara ( and Bali Cycling. Participants will be departed from the start line (Resto Floating) simultaneously all participants with a maximum speed of 30km / hour. The contestant will be led by the platoon captain, heading to some specified stop points. Participants can race bikes and race to get rankings on the length of Strava Segment location only. The length of the segment at the location determined by the committee (max 5 km), there are two types of routes to choose from are Full Marathon (58km) and Half Marathon (42km).

There will be 2 segments contested in the black lava trajectory and trail to the highest peak of Sukawana Village. After completing all the stages, the participants will proceed to the final point in Floating Restaurant to attend the medal medal ceremony followed by lunch.

Participants will get: Medal Finisher, Starter kit, 1 lunch box, Drink during event, sweepstakes, podium prize.

Technical Meeting

Personal Technical Meeting, August 18, 2018 (private) is held at Floating Restaurant, 12.00 – 15.00 (your arrival is free between that time). Taking attendance number and various information to be submitted by the committee.


The event on August 19, 2018, participants must come at 07.00 WITA to re-register and will start at 08.00.
For participants who want to park the car near the Start Point point should arrive early.
